Important Notice: Pertussis Vaccine

You start providing care for your baby long before he or she is born. One very important way is by having a Tdap vaccine. The CDC reported a significant increase in pertussis last year, and the disease can be life threatening to your baby. You, your family, and anyone who will be in close proximity to your baby should be vaccinated. If you have not yet received a Tdap vaccine, please get one at your family physician's office, a drug store (CVS Minute Clinic, for example) or at the Health Department. If you have received your Tdap vaccine, please let us know so we can update your medical record.
